At AirBlush, we are committed to providing quality beauty tools and excellent customer service. This Return & Refund Policy is designed to comply with applicable South African consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 ("CPA").

1. Change of Mind Returns

Due to the personal nature of beauty and cosmetic tools, AirBlush does not generally accept returns for products that have been opened, used, tested, damaged by the customer, or are no longer in their original condition.

If you wish to return an unused item because you have changed your mind, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery. Any approved return must:

  • Be unused and unopened;
  • Be in its original packaging with all seals, labels, accessories, and inserts intact;
  • Be returned in a resalable condition;
  • Include proof of purchase.

Approved change-of-mind returns may be subject to a reasonable handling, collection, inspection, and restocking fee as permitted by applicable law.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

2. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged upon delivery, or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.

We may request photographs, videos, or additional information to assess the issue before approving a return, replacement, repair, store credit, or refund.

Where required under the CPA, AirBlush will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:

  • Repair;
  • Replacement;
  • Refund; or
  • Store credit.

The remedy offered will depend on the nature of the defect and the circumstances of the claim.

3. CPA Quality Warranty

In accordance with Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, consumers may be entitled to return products that fail to meet the standards of quality, durability, or fitness for purpose prescribed by law.

Where applicable, AirBlush reserves the right to inspect the product and investigate the reported defect before approving a remedy.

Returns may be refused where the product failure is caused by:

  • Misuse;
  • Negligence;
  • Abuse;
  • Improper storage;
  • Failure to follow care instructions;
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Accidental damage; or
  • Unauthorised alterations.

4. Hygiene and Safety Restrictions

To protect the health and safety of all customers, AirBlush reserves the right to refuse returns of:

  • Opened beauty tools;
  • Used makeup sponges;
  • Used powder puffs;
  • Products showing signs of wear, contamination, washing, or use;
  • Products returned without original packaging where hygiene cannot be reasonably verified.

This limitation does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation relating to defective goods.

5. Return Procedure

To initiate a return request, please contact our customer support team and provide:

  • Your order number;
  • Full name;
  • Contact details;
  • Description of the issue; and
  • Supporting photographs where applicable.

No returns may be sent back without prior written approval from AirBlush.

Unauthorised returns may be rejected and returned to the sender.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider, bank, and payment platform.

Shipping costs, courier fees, customs charges (if applicable), and handling fees may be deducted where permitted by law.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return unless defective:

  • Opened or used beauty tools;
  • Promotional or clearance items marked as non-returnable;
  • Gift cards or store credits;
  • Products damaged through misuse or negligence.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AirBlush shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of any product purchased from our store.

Nothing in this policy excludes, limits, or waives any rights that consumers may have under applicable South African law.
